Live Room

The live room is approx. 5m x 7m and has an enclosed, relaxed atmosphere conducive to creative inspiration. It is a fantastic sounding room and the ambiance of the space creates a good vibe when recording. We have a selection of gobos to change and divide up the room making it possible to record a live band with everyone in the room, you can isolate the vocals from the recording in the control room and overdub later if required. You can also track everything separately if you wish. creating the perfect environment to record in. The live room has a direct line of sight to the control room.

We have a fine selection of instruments available and can arrange the hire of other equipment if required. Available In the live room to use is an Zender upright piano, a Fender Rhodes Mk. II, a Wurlitzer, a Hammond M-102 with Leslie cabinet. There is a Roland JC-120 guitar amplifier and a Sound city 4 x 12 and 50 watt Valve head. Also available for use are various analogue synths including a Korg MS-20, an Oberheim OB-1 and a Moog Taurus II, all classic mono synths of their generation ideal for fat and dirty bass, tight electronic kicks or just strange atmospheric backgrounds.
